The Main Intelligence Directorate warned of a campaign to discredit Military Intelligence
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense has reported the spread of disinformation targeting Military Intelligence and the combat units of the GUR.
According to intelligence reports, media outlets, bloggers, and Telegram channels with questionable reputations may be used for this campaign, particularly in exchange for financial compensation.
The Main Intelligence Directorate urged the public to rely only on information from verified official sources.
The intelligence agency also appealed to journalists, media outlets, and bloggers to report to law enforcement if they are offered the opportunity to publish or disseminate unverified material.

A video of a conflict involving gunfire between personnel from the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate in Kyiv is circulating online. The released footage shows a verbal altercation and shoving match between those involved in the incident, which later escalated into SBU special forces firing at GUR operatives.
As a reminder, a shooting occurred in Kyiv, and security forces were spotted at the scene.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the shooting incident between representatives of the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate in Kyiv “absolutely shameful” and ordered a full investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
