In Kharkiv, a car struck pedestrians near the metro station; one person was killed
On the evening of May 20, a serious traffic accident occurred in Kharkiv near the "Armiiska" metro station. According to preliminary reports, the young pedestrians were crossing the street in an unmarked area when they were struck by a passenger car.

The accident occurred on Heroes of Kharkiv Avenue. According to media reports, an Audi and a Volkswagen, both traveling in the same direction, were involved in the accident.
After the collision, the pedestrians’ bodies were thrown onto another car traveling nearby.
Law enforcement officials are currently identifying the victims and determining their ages.
“The age and personal details of the injured girl are currently being determined. The distance from the accident site to the ‘Armiiska’ metro underpass is about ten meters,” the report states.
