On April 24 in Khmelnytskyi, gunshots were heard in the courtyard of an apartment building; the shooter was detained and may be a member of the military.
This was reported by the National Police.
The incident occurred on Shukhevych Street—the 102 emergency hotline received a report of a gunshot. Patrol officers and an investigative team arrived at the scene promptly.
Law enforcement officers determined that a 35-year-old man had fired a starter pistol into the asphalt.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
The man was detained; police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident and determining the legal classification of the act.
