The first flowers have already been spotted in the Valley of Narcissi in Zakarpattia, and mass blooming is expected to begin this coming weekend.
This was reported by the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve.
Currently, active budding is underway in the valley, and very soon the area will begin to be covered with a characteristic white carpet of flowers.
The reserve urges visitors to follow updates to choose the best time to visit and take advantage of the opportunity to witness this unique natural phenomenon.
The Valley of Daffodils is part of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve—one of Ukraine’s largest nature conservation areas, covering over 66,000 hectares. It features a variety of landscapes, ranging from foothills to alpine meadows.
