Ukrenergo does not anticipate any power outages on June 27
On Wednesday, May 27, there are no plans to impose power restrictions in Ukraine, and the power grid is operating without any scheduled outages, although energy officials are still asking people not to overload the grid during peak hours. At the same time, Ukrenergo is urging people to use electrical appliances wisely to avoid sudden spikes in demand during the evening. This was reported by the National Energy Company Ukrenergo.
The situation in the power grid remains under control, and no blackout schedules are being implemented for Wednesday. The company specifically noted that even with stable grid operation, consumption matters, as it is people’s behavior during peak hours that affects the system’s balance.
Energy officials are asking Ukrainians to reduce the use of high-power electrical appliances in the evening, when the load traditionally increases the most—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Instead, they cite daytime hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM as the optimal period for active electricity consumption, when the system operates with a greater power reserve.
In fact, these are not restrictions but recommendations intended to help maintain the stability of the power grid without posing additional risks to residential consumers and businesses.
