Water supply disruptions have occurred in the Kramatorsk community due to Russian shelling
The Kramatorsk community is experiencing disruptions in the centralized water supply due to damage to water networks and infrastructure facilities caused by Russian shelling.
While the water is out, residents can use designated hand-pump stations and wells; however, the water from these sources is for non-potable use only. You can find out the location of the nearest water collection point by contacting the city’s call center. The city council urges citizens to monitor air raid alerts while collecting water and to avoid crowding near water supply sources.
In September, approximately 34,000 people remained in Kramatorsk, and between 150 and 300 residents are being evacuated from the city daily. Forced evacuation of families with children is ongoing on some streets in the community. Due to the security situation, the operations of certain institutions and municipal services have also been restricted: garbage collection has been suspended at some addresses, and one Pension Fund office and four “Ukrposhta” branches have been closed.
This was reported by the Kramatorsk City Council.
Russian troops killed three residents of the Donetsk region; five more people were wounded. Two of the victims were in Kramatorsk, and one was in Shabelkivka.
In the occupied town of Oleshky, about 2,000 people were left without food and water.
