A Russian agent who was coordinating Russian strikes was exposed in Lyman
The Counterintelligence Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with soldiers from the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, detained a Russian agent who was passing on the coordinates of Ukrainian positions to facilitate attacks on the defenders of Lyman in Donetsk Oblast.
According to the investigation, the local unemployed resident was recruited during the occupation of Lyman.
He reportedly made no secret of his pro-Russian views and collaborated with Russian intelligence services.
The detainee directed enemy fire at Ukrainian positions, specifically providing coordinates for the use of guided aerial bombs, attack drones, barrel and rocket artillery, as well as “Solntsepok”-type flamethrower systems.
The SBU noted that Russian troops were attempting to weaken the city’s defenses and create conditions for further assault operations.
The man was detained near the front line, in the so-called “no-fly zone,” while he was photographing Ukrainian positions. During a search, a smartphone containing evidence of his collaboration with the enemy was seized.
He has been notified of charges of treason committed under martial law, and a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail has been imposed.
The suspect faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

This was reported by the SBU press center.
