In Lviv, an unknown man threw two bottles containing a flammable mixture at the Islamic Religious and Cultural Center. Law enforcement officials have opened a criminal investigation and are working to identify the perpetrator.

This was reported by the Lviv Regional Police.

The incident occurred on the evening of April 28. Around 8:40 p.m., a report of a fire at the mosque was received via the 102 emergency line.

According to preliminary police data, an unknown individual threw two bottles containing a flammable mixture into the building and then fled. The liquid from one of the bottles ignited, but one of the center’s staff members extinguished the flames on his own before emergency responders arrived.
