The reading of the indictment in the case of Andriy Parubiy's murder has begun in Lviv
The Frankivsk District Court of Lviv has begun reading the indictment in the case of the murder of Andriy Parubiy, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament and former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
This was reported during the court hearing.
Initially, the court session was scheduled to begin with the consideration of a motion by the victims’ attorney, Yuriy Zoshiy, regarding a change in the security measure for a previously filed civil claim. However, at the start of the session, Presiding Judge Oleksandr Velychko announced that the court had received written objections from attorney Yulia Strutynska the day before.
Attorney Zoshiy stated that he had received copies of the objections and needed time to review them. After discussion, the court decided to grant time to review the materials and postpone consideration of the motion until the next hearing.
After that, the court proceeded to read the indictment to Mykhailo Stselnikov.
The court hearing is ongoing.
