Weather in Ukraine this weekend: frost and a long-awaited warm spell

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center on Facebook.
“Over the next three days, cold air will finally begin to retreat eastward, and a warm air mass will spread from Western Europe toward us. However, this process will only begin tomorrow, so nighttime frosts will still be observed almost everywhere: in most regions—in the air, and in the south of the country—mostly on the ground surface; on Sunday, they will become significantly less frequent, and by the beginning of the week, they are already unlikely,” the statement reads.
It is noted that daytime temperatures will also rise, most noticeably on Monday, with the warmest conditions in the west and north of the country. Dry weather will prevail in the high-pressure area, and only in the south and southeast will there be light rain in some places.
