Payments under the e-Recovery program for IDPs from the occupied territories have begun
Ukraine has begun the process of allocating funds under the "e-Recovery" program for internally displaced persons whose homes remain in the temporarily occupied territories.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
IDPs with combatant status or individuals with war-related disabilities who lost their homes due to Russian aggression are eligible to participate in the program.
UAH 6.6 billion has already been allocated for these payments. This will allow housing certificates to be issued to approximately 3,300 families.
As Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba noted, the first to receive compensation will be military personnel and people with disabilities in Groups I and II whose applications have already been processed.
In total, over 130,000 applications regarding destroyed housing have been submitted since the program began, and the number of certificates issued has exceeded 50,000.
