Poland has rejected allegations of corruption surrounding military contracts for Ukraine — Wprost

A representative of the Polish company "Phu Lechmar" stated that the contract with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, which sparked a major scandal on social media, was properly fulfilled and has been fully closed.

Official Beijing or any other foreign parties have no connection to this purely logistical operation

The company spokesperson denied all rumors of corruption or unfulfilled obligations to the Ukrainian side.

The entire procurement process was strictly monitored, and foreign partners operated exclusively within the framework of international law.

Thanks to clear coordination, border guards received the necessary supplies on time. The organization of the process allowed for avoiding delays, despite the complex security situation in the region.

“This contract with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was fully executed by PHU Lechmar in accordance with the terms of the contract and within the established schedule. Every clause of this contract was properly fulfilled, and the contract itself was officially closed after mutual confirmation of the fulfillment of all obligations. There are no outstanding claims, unresolved disputes, or unfinished implementation stages,” said company spokesperson Karolina Szydła in an interview with Wprost.

During her conversation with journalists, the Phu Lechmar representative also commented on numerous rumors regarding political ties with high-ranking Ukrainian officials.

She called the claim of ties to Andriy Yermak, then head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, “absolutely absurd and baseless.”

According to her, the company won the tender solely due to its ability to operate in extreme conditions.

The Polish side emphasized that most European suppliers are simply afraid to take on responsibility for logistics during combat operations.

The specific nature of military contracts requires a high level of preparation and readiness to take on financial risks. That is why only experienced companies remain in the market.

“The share of contracts with the State Border Guard Service is due to a simple reason: most companies are unable to meet the contract requirements in the conflict zone. Severe contractual penalties, complex warranty systems, and logistics operating under fire—this is an environment that eliminates weaker players. We bear this risk. And we do it effectively,” she stated.

The spokesperson complained that Russia is waging a war in the information and psychological spheres and is trying to discredit Ukraine’s supply channels. Because of this, there is a lot of misinformation and manipulation surrounding military contracts in the media.

The enemy is trying to block international aid by creating artificial scandals around European suppliers.

This was stated by company spokesperson Karolina Syudila in an interview with Wprost.
