A damaged high-rise building in Ivano-Frankivsk is at risk of collapsing
In a high-rise building in Ivano-Frankivsk that was damaged by Russian shelling, the load-bearing structures have been damaged, posing a risk of collapse between floors.
According to Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv, state inspections have already been conducted and project documentation has been prepared for the building’s restoration. Work to restore the walls and partitions is scheduled to begin within one to two weeks, with the main phase of repairs expected to be completed in about a month.
The city is paying residents of uninhabitable apartments 15,000 UAH per month for rental housing and is also helping them apply for compensation under the “e-Recovery” program.
