Sevastopol has implemented strict power outage schedules, with electricity available for only two hours at a time

A new power supply schedule has been introduced in occupied Sevastopol, under which electricity will be provided for only two hours, followed by a six-hour blackout.

According to Russian media reports citing the company “Krymenergo,” several cities and districts in the temporarily occupied Crimea also remain without electricity. The reason cited is ongoing strikes on energy infrastructure facilities.

According to the report, Dzhankoy, Krasnoperekopsk, Armiansk, Yevpatoria, and surrounding settlements, as well as the Dzhankoy, Krasnoperekopsk, Nizhnegorsk, Pervomaisky, Rozdolnensky, and Black Sea districts.

In addition, on the southern coast of Crimea, the previously announced 3/3 power rationing schedule has been canceled due to reduced electricity quotas, as reported by Sergey Olefirenko, deputy head of the occupation administration in Yalta.

In Sevastopol, a power-cut schedule has been introduced—electricity will be supplied for two hours and cut off for six hours, according to Mikhail Razvozhayev, head of the city’s occupation authorities, as reported to Russian media.

This was reported by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

Occupied Sevastopol has been left completely without electricity.

In addition, on the night of July 8, strike drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a military airfield in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh Oblast, Russia. This airbase is home to aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which are used for both combat and training missions.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have reduced the strength of the Russian army by another 1,260 troops. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released updated data on enemy losses as of July 8, also reporting the destruction of a significant amount of enemy equipment.
