The Logistics Forces explained why they removed the post criticizing Fedorov

The Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that it had removed a post criticizing former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov over the alleged deterioration of logistical support for the troops, in order to prevent its use in political disputes.

Command spokesperson Valeriy Shershen said that the post reflected a consolidated position and was based on facts. According to him, after certain “opinion leaders” began to shift the discussion into the political realm, it was decided to remove the post so as not to escalate the situation.

At the same time, Shershen emphasized that the Command has sufficient facts and will continue to publicly report on issues related to logistical support.

The Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine publicly supported Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi and stated that the resignation of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov helped stabilize the system of military logistics.

As a reminder, Zelenskyy may replace Syrskyi with Joint Forces Commander Drapato.

Zelenskyy met with commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On July 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher. The parties discussed support for Ukraine, the activities of the Church, peace initiatives, and the country’s European integration.
