Ukrainian law enforcement authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of Russian citizen Islam Osmanov, who is suspected of involvement in crimes related to the property of inventor Mykola Kolbun, who went missing during the occupation of Bucha.

This was reported by Glavkom.

According to the investigation, after Kolbun’s disappearance in early March 2022, the suspects attempted to seize his property, valued at a total of 18.1 million hryvnias—a house in Bucha, two apartments, and an office in Kyiv. To do so, according to the investigation, a will was forged and state registries were tampered with.

The investigation also established that the inventor’s relatives were misled by false reports about his alleged treatment in Belarus and, later, his death in Austria. Official data from Ukrainian consular offices did not confirm this information. Osmanov was formally charged in absentia on March 24.

As a reminder, a scheme to smuggle men abroad via the TCC was uncovered in Kharkiv.

The SBU detained the head of the Medical Examination Commission in Kropyvnytskyi for selling disability certificates.

Kyiv police dismantled an interregional cocaine distribution network worth 8 million hryvnias.
