Ukrainian drone manufacturers showcased their innovations at a military event in Denmark
Ukrainian manufacturers of unmanned systems participated in Innovation Day 2026, which took place at the Hevring firing range in Denmark.
The event was organized by the Danish Ministry of Defense’s Agency for Logistics and Procurement (FMI). At the range, representatives from the defense industry, the Danish Defense Forces, universities, and international partners demonstrated new military technologies and tested them under real-world conditions.
Unmanned systems were one of the key areas of focus. Danish military personnel were able to directly test aerial and ground drones while performing practical tasks.
FMI Director Lieutenant General Kim Jesper Jørgensen noted that military personnel assessed the suitability of the presented technologies for real-world applications. At the same time, developers received direct feedback from the military regarding the effectiveness of their systems and potential areas for improvement.
Special attention was paid during the event to the development of unmanned aerial vehicles and countermeasures against them. Jørgensen emphasized the need to increase the number of drones for performing various tasks, as well as to develop capabilities for detecting them.
The Ukrainian-Danish company Dropla Tech participated in Innovation Day and the concurrent Range Day. Its co-founder and CEO, Vyacheslav Shvaydak, announced the company’s participation in the events.
Frontline Robotics also showcased its products. Its Director of Development, Mykyta Rozhkov, joined the event and presented Ukrainian innovations.
Range Day, dedicated to testing weapons, targeting systems, optics, ammunition, armed platforms, and other military equipment, took place in parallel with Innovation Day.
Earlier in Denmark, a prototype of the six-wheeled ground-based robotic system Dropla Tech had already been tested. The project involves the creation of unmanned platforms for evacuation, logistics, and surveillance.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has approved more than 1,100 new weapons models in the past six months.
The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized the use of the new Ukrainian-made B-1 unmanned aerial system by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These ultra-light bombers are designed to strike concentrations of personnel, vehicles, and armored equipment.
