Ukrhydroenergo has commissioned an audit of its own contracts for 18 million hryvnias
Following the results of a tender, the company “Ukrhydroenergo” contracted LLC “Transcarpathian Institute of Forensic Expertise and Accessibility Issues” to provide expert services related to its contracts for a total amount of 17.81 million hryvnias. The contractor was awarded the contract without competition, as no other bidders participated in the open bidding process.
Over the course of 20 months, specialists are to conduct comprehensive electrical, construction, and product-related analyses of 30 agreements entered into by the company between 2024 and 2026.
The cost per hour of expert services is 499 hryvnias, which is 7% more expensive in dollar terms compared to a similar contract awarded in January 2025. The company’s founder is Dmytro Ostroverkhov, whose other firm had already received similar contracts from Ukrhydroenergo in 2023 totaling 9.83 million hryvnias.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted an official decision to dismiss most members of the supervisory board of the private joint-stock company “Ukrhydroenergo.”
