Ukrainian celebrities showed their support for Fedorov after his resignation and joined the protests

Ukrainian artists, athletes, and public figures have expressed their support for former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov following his resignation. Some of them joined protests in Kyiv and Lviv, while others posted statements of support on social media.

Among those participating in the rally in Kyiv were actor and blogger Zhenya Yanovich, skeleton racer Vladislav Geraskevich, singer Nikita Alekseev, singers Jerry Heil, Dasha Astafieva, and Skylerr, as well as writer and military officer Pavlo Vyshebaba. In Lviv, actor Oleksandr Rudynskyi joined the protesters.

Some public figures expressed their views on social media. Actress Natalka Denisenko stated that she opposes Fedorov’s resignation, producer Iryna Horova supported the protesters, and singer Volodymyr Dantes called for Fedorov to remain in office.

Musician Yevhen Galich also criticized the personnel decision, stating that Fedorov’s resignation could negatively impact the country’s security.

“Fedorov’s dismissal means there will be more terrible nights. He is honest, wise, and effective! Respect to everyone who takes to Franko Square and other venues in various cities to openly express their position,” Galich wrote.

Earlier, protests against the dismissal of Mykhailo Fedorov as defense minister took place in a number of Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, and Kropyvnytskyi.

A protest is taking place in Kyiv against the removal of Mykhailo Fedorov from the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine, along with the entire government. More than a thousand people have gathered on the square next to the Ivan Franko Theater, not far from the Office of the President of Ukraine.

A protest against Mykhailo Fedorov’s resignation has begun in Lviv.

Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Pavlo Yelizarov announced that he had submitted his resignation.
