A Ukrainian manufacturer of interceptor drones has entered into a strategic partnership with Airbus
The Ukrainian defense technology company SkyFall and Airbus Defence and Space have signed a memorandum of strategic partnership to strengthen the protection of Ukraine’s airspace.
The document was signed during the ILA Berlin Air Show, an international aerospace exhibition, with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius in attendance.
One of the key areas of cooperation will be the integration of Ukrainian P1-SUN interceptor drones with the Airbus Air C2 airspace management system.
The companies note that the partnership will combine Airbus’s expertise in air and missile defense with Ukrainian technologies proven in combat conditions.
The collaboration will also support the development of the European Sky Shield air defense system and facilitate the entry of Ukrainian defense technologies into the European market.
