Ukraine's national AI model has been named "Syaivo" — Ministry of Digital Transformation
"Syaivo" was chosen as the winner of the vote to name the national large language model (LLM).
This was announced by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
Over 136,000 Ukrainians participated in the vote, and the winning name received 22,600 votes.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation noted that “Syaivo” will be used in government services, business, education, and defense.
The model will help process data, automate processes, and serve as the foundation for new digital products.
Other options included “Slovo,” “Hoverla,” “Kavun,” “Gomin,” and others.
Beta testing of the Ukrainian LLM is scheduled to launch in spring 2026.
Earlier, the “Diya” app launched beta testing of a new service—submitting applications for one-time financial assistance for active-duty military personnel.
A new inclusive section has been launched on the Diya.Business portal.
Ukraine has authorized the temporary reservation of defense industry workers through “Diya.”
