Ukrenergo issued a forecast for power outages on September 12
On Saturday, September 12, there are no plans to implement electricity consumption restrictions in Ukraine.
At the same time, consumers are urged to use electricity wisely and to use high-power household appliances during the daytime—from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This was reported by NPC “Ukrenergo.”
In Kyiv, authorities have begun stockpiling food and drinking water in preparation for prolonged power outages and other emergencies. The city aims to prepare reserves in advance that can be used at resilience centers and to assist residents in the event of large-scale disruptions.
A new air threat warning system went into operation in Kyiv on September 6. Now, city residents will receive notifications not only about the fact that a threat exists but also about its type—drone, missile, or combined.
