Ukrenergo does not anticipate any power outages on Thursday
On Thursday, April 30, there are no plans to impose restrictions on electricity consumption in Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Ukrenergo announced this on Facebook.
At the same time, the company is urging consumers to shift energy-intensive activities to daytime hours—from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
It is also recommended to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances during the evening hours—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The Rada approved a bill on the development of green energy in its first reading.
Europe is implementing a new plan to address the energy crisis, which calls for further reductions in electricity consumption and the active promotion of a “green agenda,” which could negatively impact industry and the general public. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasizes that “the cheapest energy is the energy you don’t use.”
On January 22, in Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Vinnytsia Oblast, during a protest against frequent power outages, an incident occurred in which the head of the regional power grid was injured.
