Ukrenergo does not expect any power outages on Friday
No power outage schedules are expected in Ukraine on Friday, June 19, as the power grid is operating stably and does not require additional restrictions. At the same time, energy officials are asking citizens to use electricity wisely and to schedule energy-intensive activities during daylight hours.
The national energy company Ukrenergo reported that on Friday, June 19, Ukraine does not plan to implement any measures to restrict electricity consumption, which means that rolling blackouts will not be implemented. The company noted that the current situation in the power grid allows for meeting consumer demand without additional strain or intervention, so the day should proceed as usual.
At the same time, energy officials reminded the public that even when the system is operating stably, it is important not to overload the grid during peak hours, and therefore urged Ukrainians to use high-power electrical appliances between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., when the load on the power grid is typically lower. The company emphasizes that such behavior by consumers helps maintain balance in the grid and reduces the risk of sudden overloads, especially given the constant challenges facing the country’s energy infrastructure. NEC “Ukrenergo” reported this on Telegram.
