Ukrenergo has warned of power outages on April 10
On Friday, April 10, 2026, hourly power outage schedules will be in effect across all regions of Ukraine for all categories of consumers. Power restrictions will also be applied to industrial facilities.
This was reported by NPC "Ukrenergo."
The introduction of these restrictions is due to the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, which have led to a power shortage in the system. Experts note that the situation remains tense, so the scope of restrictions may change depending on the operational status of the grids. Energy officials are urging citizens to use electricity sparingly during periods when it is available to reduce the load on the remaining grid components.
The exact time and duration of outages at specific addresses must be checked on the official websites of local power distribution companies. Ukrenergo emphasizes that the published schedules are a necessary measure to maintain the stable operation of the power grid, which continues to suffer from systematic attacks. Currently, repair crews are working around the clock to repair damage to transmission lines and power plants. Further strengthening of air defense remains a key factor in stabilizing the situation in the energy sector. The government continues to seek international assistance to supply necessary equipment and transformers. Citizens are asked to prepare necessary water supplies in advance and charge their devices. As of the evening of April 9, the dispatch center continues to monitor the situation in real time. Consumption is expected to decrease slightly over the weekend, which may help reduce the duration of outages. However, energy officials advise the public to rely on up-to-date information from service providers in each individual region.
On April 9, measures to restrict electricity consumption were implemented across all regions of Ukraine.
Ukrenergo issued a statement regarding emergency power outages.
Russian strikes left more than 4,000 customers without power in the Zaporizhzhia region.
