Ukrzaliznytsia has changed the schedule for commuter trains between Kyiv and Nizhyn
Due to repair work on a section of track near Nizhyn, the schedule for a number of commuter trains running between Kyiv and Nizhyn has been temporarily adjusted. Passengers are urged to take the updated schedule into account when planning their trips.
Today:
- Train No. 6912 Kyiv-Volynskyi – Nizhyn will run from 12:40 p.m. to 3:36 p.m. (instead of 11:59 a.m. to 2:49 p.m.);
- Train No. 6914 Pivnichna (Kyiv) – Nizhyn will run from 15:28 to 18:14 (instead of 14:09–16:52);
- Train No. 6923 Nizhyn – Pivnichna (Kyiv) will run from 3:44 p.m. to 6:16 p.m. (instead of 3:18 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.).
July 24 and 25, and from July 27 through August 1:
- Train No. 6917 Nizhyn – Pivnichna (Kyiv) 10:48–13:23 (instead of 11:10–13:45).
“Please take these changes into account when planning your trips and check the station-by-station schedule for a specific train in the ‘Schedule Changes’ section,” the announcement notes.

Earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia changed the route of three trains passing through Stryi.
During the summer travel season, Ukrzaliznytsia passengers have been leaving personal belongings in train cars more frequently. The number of reports regarding lost property has exceeded 100 cases per day.
