Payments under the National Cashback Program are set to begin in Ukraine

The Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine has announced the next phase of payments under the "National Cashback" program.

This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.

According to the ministry, the payments will benefit over 4.4 million Ukrainians who purchased Ukrainian-made goods in February. Along with the February cashback, some users will also receive compensation for January, which required additional processing.

“The program continues to expand and covers millions of Ukrainians, stimulating demand for products from local manufacturers,” the Ministry of Economy noted.

Until March 1, the program operated at a fixed rate of 10%. Starting March 1, a differentiated model was introduced:

  • 15% – for Ukrainian-made goods in categories with a high share of imports: cosmetics and hygiene products, household chemicals, home goods, repair and construction supplies, pet products, office supplies, clothing, footwear, hard and soft cheeses, and certain types of pasta and grains.
  • 5% – in segments where Ukrainian manufacturers are already strong: sweets, non-alcoholic beverages, pharmacy products, garden and vegetable garden products, snacks, canned and frozen foods, fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood, oil, meat, dairy products (except hard and soft cheeses), sauces, and condiments.

This differentiated allocation helps direct state support specifically to those segments that are most affected by import pressure.

The program also provides compensation for fuel at participating gas stations:

  • 15% – diesel;
  • 10% – gasoline;
  • 5% – autogas.

The allocated funds cannot be withdrawn as cash, but they can be used for:

  • utility bills and mobile phone service;
  • transportation tickets and medical services;
  • donations to charitable foundations or the purchase of military bonds;
  • postal services;
  • purchasing books and printed materials;
  • purchases of Ukrainian-produced food products.

The maximum monthly payment per person is 3,000 hryvnias.

The “National Cashback” program is designed to support Ukrainian producers and stimulate consumer demand for domestically produced goods.

Earlier, the Ministry of Economy explained the procedure to follow in the event of a lack of cashback for fuel purchases.

As of March 30, 2026, the largest gas station chains in Ukraine have updated their fuel prices. There have been no significant changes: the average price of A-95 gasoline is approximately 72.43 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel is 85.76 UAH per liter.

As of the morning of March 29, fuel prices in Ukraine had stabilized following a prolonged period of growth.

Why, instead of loweringprices, they offered cashback on fuel.

Also, diesel fuel has become cheaper; here are the prices at gas stations in Ukraine on March 26.
