Fuel prices on May 1, 2026: How much do gasoline and diesel cost?
As of May 1, 2026, major gas station chains in Ukraine have updated their fuel prices. The average price of A-95 gasoline is approximately 73 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel is approximately 88 UAH per liter.
This is evidenced by market monitoring data.
Overall, relative price stability persists in the Ukrainian fuel market. At the same time, some chains have seen a slight decrease in prices for certain types of fuel.
Specifically, prices have decreased by:
- autogas — by 1 UAH,
- A-92 — by 1.10 UAH,
- A-95 — by 0.90 UAH,
- A-95+ — by 0.20 UAH.
The highest prices for gasoline and diesel are currently recorded at the OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR networks. At the same time, the most affordable fuel prices are offered by Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta.

Analysts note that the market remains sensitive to logistics, exchange rate fluctuations, and the cost of imported supplies; however, no sharp price spikes are currently observed in the short term.
As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to extend the fuel cashback program until May 31, 2026, due to the consistently high cost of fuel and the service’s popularity among citizens.
The Ministry of Economyhas announced when the cashback for January will be paid out.
