In Ukraine, only social and military expenditures have been funded since September 15

As of September 15, the state budget in Ukraine is funding only social expenditures, salaries for public sector employees, and the maintenance of military personnel.

This was reported by Member of Parliament Olga Vasilevska-Smaglyuk, who noted that there is very little money in the budget.

According to the lawmaker, the Verkhovna Rada is expected to consider a number of international requirements in the near future, including issues related to the taxation of parcels and securitization. At the same time, the issue of Ukraine’s accession to SEPA—the Single Euro Payments Area—is not on the parliament’s agenda.

In addition, Vasilevska-Smaglyuk commented on the initiative to introduce a registry of bank accounts and safe deposit boxes, noting that members of parliament are wary of this decision.

Olga Vasilevska-Smaglyuk reported this in a Telegram post.

Ukraine will soon receive $841 million in budget support from the World Bank. The funds will be used to offset state budget expenditures related to pension payments, and the Canadian government will provide financing guarantees.

The average pension in Ukraine has exceeded 7,200 hryvnias.
