An automated drone distribution system has started operating in the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have launched an automated system that distributes drones among units. Digitalization has made the process faster and more transparent.

This was reported by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, the previous “manual” distribution caused duplicate requests, delays, and errors due to human factors, which complicated operational planning.

“Now, the path of a drone from arrival at the warehouse to delivery to a unit has been reduced 2–3 times — approximately to one day,” Fedorov said.

The system is based on SAP and covers the entire supply chain, from procurement to delivery to units. It allows real-time visibility of requests, control over drone stock in warehouses, the creation of delivery orders in a few minutes, and planning of supply without duplication or delays.

“For the military, this means faster delivery and more accurate planning. For the state, it ensures transparent control of supplies,” the minister emphasized.

In December–January, the Ministry of Defense reached a high average level of interceptor drone deliveries to the Ukrainian military.
The Ministry has also tightened requirements for defense industry enterprises with outstanding debts.
