The High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated 8.5 million hryvnias worth of property from a former tax official in Chernihiv Oblast
The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim filed by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and ordered that the assets of Lyudmyla Slotyuk, the former head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Chernihiv Oblast, her mother, and her son, totaling more than 8.5 million hryvnias, be confiscated and transferred to the state.
According to the SAP, between 2021 and 2023, the official and her relatives purchased a Volvo car, an apartment, and four parking spaces in one of Kyiv’s residential complexes.
An audit of the family’s official income and expenses revealed that they did not have the lawful funds to purchase this property. On this basis, prosecutors filed a lawsuit seeking to have the assets declared unjustified and to have them confiscated.
The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the claim in full and ordered the specified assets to be forfeited to the state.
