The High Anti-Corruption Court will continue hearing the case regarding the selection of a pretrial measure for Iryna Mudriy, the former deputy head of the Office of the President, on Monday, August 24. The investigating judge announced this decision.

High Anti-Corruption Court began a hearing on the imposition of a preventive measure against Iryna Mudriy, the former deputy head of the Office of the President.
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office is requesting that the High Anti-Corruption Court arrest Mudriy with the possibility of setting bail at 150 million hryvnias.
On August 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) stated that they had notified a number of officials of their suspicion of laundering proceeds of crime; on June 29, these officials had arranged for 150 million hryvnias in bail to be posted for one of the defendants in the “Midas” case.
According to the investigation, the group included: the deputy head of the Office of the President, a former member of parliament, the chairman of the board of a state-owned bank, the chairman of the supervisory board of a state-owned bank, and other individuals.
In particular, investigative actions were carried out at the residence of Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President.
On August 19, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Iryna Mudra from her position as Deputy Head of the Office of the President. Mudra later stated that she had submitted her resignation herself.
