Over the past five days, the bodies of six more Black Sea cetaceans have been discovered on the Black Sea coast within the “Tuzly Estuaries” National Nature Park.

According to ecologist Ivan Rusev, the dead animals were found on the park’s coast in August. Experts continue to monitor the situation and document cases of marine mammal deaths.

The ecologist noted that, according to estimates by experts at the “Tuzly Estuaries” National Nature Park, more than 100,000 Black Sea cetaceans have died over the course of 4.5 years of full-scale war. According to the park’s experts, the war has also significantly disrupted the natural balance of the marine ecosystem.
