Police stated that the man was wanted for violating mobilization laws and had never been registered for military service.

“While conducting public awareness campaigns, a joint team from the Pechersk Police Department and the Pechersk District Military Registration and Enlistment Office was checking the documents of men subject to military conscription in the center of the capital,” law enforcement officials explained.

However, during the check, the man attempted to flee, so he was detained and taken to the district Military Registration and Enlistment Office and the Special Forces.

After his detention, law enforcement officers informed the man that he was wanted for “violating mobilization laws.” Additionally, according to police, the man had never been registered for military service.
