Video: Protests against Fedorov's dismissal are taking place in Kyiv for the third day in a row
On July 18, for the third day in a row, people have been gathering at Ivan Franko Square in Kyiv to protest the dismissal of Mykhailo Fedorov as defense minister.
Social media reports indicate that, despite it being a weekend, new participants are joining the protest. In addition to students, internally displaced persons and people attending a rally for the first time have been spotted there.
As a reminder, the protest against the dismissal of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, which began on Thursday, July 16, at Franko Square near the Office of the President in Kyiv, continued on Friday, July 17.
On the evening of July 17, another peaceful rally in support of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov took place in Lviv.
On July 16, rallies in support of Mykhailo Fedorov took place for the second time that day in Kyiv, Lviv, and Lutsk following reports of his resignation as defense minister. Participants called on the authorities to continue the reforms that have been initiated and to transparently select new leadership for the Ministry of Defense.
