The manufacturer has announced the current price of the Ukrainian "Bogdan" howitzer
The Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant has released the current prices for the Ukrainian 155-mm self-propelled and towed “Bogdan” howitzers.
These are the prices for both versions of the artillery system, which are manufactured in Ukraine.
“The self-propelled version costs 2.5 million euros, and the towed version costs 1.6 million euros,” said a representative of the KZVV.
According to him, the company has manufactured over 1,000 guns to date.
“More than 1,000 units. That now accounts for 70% of Ukraine’s artillery,” the company representative noted.
Since the start of the full-scale war, the “Bogdan” has also undergone several stages of modernization. A KZVV employee also explained that, compared to the 2022 model, the system has already gone through 4–5 generations of upgrades.
“A fire control system has been added, along with more chassis variants. It has become more automated,” he explained.
A representative of KZVV, where the self-propelled artillery systems are manufactured, spoke about this in an interview with “Oborontsi.”
