The beach in Odesa where Russians killed a woman turned out to be closed
The beach in Odesa, where a woman was killed and a man was injured as a result of a Russian attack, is not included in the list of officially authorized recreational areas.
This was stated by Ihor Koval, acting mayor of Odesa. He urged residents and visitors to use only verified and officially open beaches.
The official also reminded everyone that even on authorized beaches, during an air raid alert, people must immediately leave the shoreline and head to the nearest shelter.
During the Russian attack on June 23, drones flew over the coastal area of Odesa, where vacationers were present. The strike resulted in one fatality and one injury; medical assistance is being provided to the victims, and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
Russia attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles, “Kinzhal” missiles, and UAVs.
