Andreolli's owner explained why Kravchenko left in their car
Former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko left Ukraine in a Mercedes-Benz V-Class car owned by the Lviv-based company “Andreolli.” The company’s director, Volodymyr Hrytsyna, stated that the car had been rented by another businessman and that the company did not know who exactly would be the passenger.

The car was rented by another businessman
According to Hrytsyna, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class was not used directly by the company to transport Kravchenko. The car was rented by another businessman who occasionally turns to “Andreolli” to rent cars. In other words, the company itself did not know who exactly would be the passenger during the trip. “It was a rental car. It’s not certain that the entrepreneur knew who the passenger was either. We have VIP clients, but we do not disclose information about them,” said Volodymyr Hrytsyna.
He also emphasized that Kravchenko was not a client of “Andreolli.” “The person you’re asking about was not our client,” stated the company’s director. Thus, according to the company’s explanation, the car was rented to another businessman. It was he who subsequently used the car for the trip during which Kravchenko crossed the border.
How much does such a transfer cost?
Journalists also asked Hrytsyna how much Kravchenko’s trip abroad in a premium-class car might have cost. He did not specify an exact amount. According to him, this is because the company does not know exactly where the former prosecutor general was traveling or what terms of the trip were agreed upon between the client and the driver.
At the same time, Hrytsyna noted that a trip in a premium car to cross the border could cost approximately 250–300 euros. This is an estimated cost for such a transfer, not the amount that Kravchenko actually paid.
How Kravchenko Ended Up Abroad
Ruslan Kravchenko’s departure from Ukraine became a separate topic of discussion following his resignation as Prosecutor General. On September 7, Kravchenko submitted his resignation amid a scandal involving call centers. At the same time, he remained in office for some time after submitting his resignation. On September 14, it became known that Kravchenko was on a business trip abroad. According to ZAXID.NET, he arranged a five-day business trip for himself.
The former Prosecutor General was scheduled to travel to Paris, where the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe was to hold hearings regarding Ukrainian children. However, Kravchenko’s name did not appear on the agenda for those hearings. Initial reports claimed that he had allegedly crossed the border in a government vehicle. It later emerged that the vehicle was not a government vehicle. According to journalist Mykhailo Tkach, Kravchenko left in a Mercedes-Benz V-Class vehicle owned by Andreolli LLC. The driver, born in 1990, was registered as a sole proprietor.
Kravchenko resigned from the Prosecutor General’s Office
This was followed by further personnel changes. On September 15, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Ruslan Kravchenko from the position of Prosecutor General. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the corresponding decree. After being dismissed as Prosecutor General, Kravchenko remained a prosecutor in the Office of the Prosecutor General.
His business trip was supposed to last five days. However, after it ended, Kravchenko did not return to work. On September 21, he submitted a letter of resignation from the prosecutor’s office. Acting Prosecutor General Anton Kovalsky signed the corresponding order. Following this, Kravchenko permanently left the prosecutor’s office.
Where Is Kravchenko Now?
Ruslan Kravchenko’s exact whereabouts are currently unknown. It is known that he left Ukraine as part of an official business trip. However, the circumstances of his departure have drawn the attention of journalists, particularly because a vehicle belonging to a private Lviv-based company was used to cross the border.
“Andreolli” explains that the firm was not Kravchenko’s direct carrier. The vehicle was leased to another entrepreneur, and the company did not know who exactly would be using it during the trip.
Thus, according to the head of “Andreolli,” the company’s involvement in Kravchenko’s trip was limited to renting the car. Who exactly booked the trip, under what conditions, and where the former prosecutor general is currently located has not been publicly disclosed. Vladimir Gritsina, the head of Andreolli LLC, told ZAXID.NET how the company’s car ended up in this situation.
