They promise to supply water to Marganets within the next 24 hours
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, round-the-clock work is underway to connect Marganets and the surrounding communities to a temporary alternative water supply following an accident on the main water pipeline.
According to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the regional state administration, seven teams of welders and about two dozen pieces of equipment are working at the site. Preparatory work has already been completed, and installation of the new temporary pipeline has begun.
At the same time, repairs are underway on the pumping equipment on the main water pipeline, whose failure left Marganets and neighboring communities without water.
The head of the Regional State Administration reported that water is expected to be supplied to residents within the next 24 hours. To date, more than 180 metric tons of drinking water have already been distributed to residents, and security measures have been strengthened at distribution points.
