The Verkhovna Rada has demonstrated its ability to operate under difficult conditions — Arakhamia
Davyd Arakhamia, head of the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction, stated that the Verkhovna Rada has successfully proven its ability to function effectively under critical circumstances.
According to him, despite all internal and external challenges, members of parliament are ready to make the decisions necessary for the country.
The lawmaker emphasized that the current composition of the legislature has repeatedly demonstrated its resilience and effectiveness.
“Today, the Verkhovna Rada confirmed that it can operate under difficult conditions, and as I mentioned earlier—this parliament has repeatedly demonstrated its readiness to make the most difficult decisions during the toughest times,” Davyd Arakhamia emphasized.
At the same time, the politician openly acknowledged the existence of certain organizational and political difficulties in the work of the chamber.
He assured the public that the leadership of the faction and the parliament continues to work actively to overcome these obstacles in order to stabilize the legislative process.
According to the faction leader, the primary guiding principle for elected officials remains the national interest, which takes precedence over any political differences.
“But the interests of the state have always been and remain the top priority,” he added, commenting on the results of the latest plenary sessions.
Currently, the Verkhovna Rada is developing new formats for collaboration aimed at expediting the consideration of important bills.
Davyd Arakhamia noted that the situation is fully under control and that parliament is gradually returning to its usual rhythm of activity.
As a reminder, Arakhamia explained Zelenskyy’s statement regarding the mobilization of MPs.
Arakhamia also distanced “Servant of the People” from calls by individual deputies to form a coalition government.
