Vyriy announced the prices of its FPV drones following searches by the State Bureau of Investigation
Vyriy Industries stated that its FPV drones cost, on average, 20–30% less than similar products from other manufacturers. This statement was made by the company’s CEO, Oleksiy Babenko, amid searches conducted by the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) in connection with a case involving possible price inflation during government procurement of drones.
Babenko spoke about this during a press conference dedicated to the State Bureau of Investigations’ probe. According to him, the company not only offered competitive prices but also regularly won tenders precisely because of its lowest bids. This relates to the State Bureau of Investigations’ probe into the possible overpricing of drones purchased with public funds. According to the investigation, the total value of such contracts amounts to nearly 7 billion hryvnias.
During the press conference, Oleksiy Babenko explained that prices for Vyriy’s products were below the market average as early as last year. As an example, he cited a 10-inch FPV drone manufactured in-house. “Last year, they were 25–30 percent cheaper than the average drone on the market. We won the lowest-cost tenders with the cheapest drones,” said Babenko.

The company also showed journalists a presentation comparing drone prices. According to the data provided, the average price of a 10-inch Vyriy Industries FPV drone in 2025 was 16,314 hryvnias. By comparison, the average cost of similar models from other manufacturers participating in government tenders was 21,967 hryvnias.
According to the company’s CEO, the price difference depends on the specific model, and for certain items, it can be even greater. Vyriy emphasizes that it specializes in the mass production of combat drones and autonomous systems for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. It is precisely this large-scale production and process optimization, according to company representatives, that allow them to maintain a lower price without compromising quality.
Meanwhile, the State Bureau of Investigation’s probe into drone procurement continues. Law enforcement officials are examining the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of contracts and the determination of their prices, while Vyriy publicly states that its products were among the most affordable on the market and repeatedly won open tenders precisely because of their lower price. The company’s CEO, Oleksiy Babenko, spoke about this at a press conference regarding today’s DBR searches.
The National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine has called on law enforcement agencies to ensure that Vyriy’s operations are not disrupted by the searches. The association emphasized that the company is one of the key manufacturers of FPV drones for Ukrainian defenders, and that any investigative actions should not disrupt the fulfillment of contracts.
