The last family with children was evacuated from Bilozerka
Law enforcement officers, together with volunteers, evacuated the last family with children from the frontline town of Bilozerka in the Kherson region, which is subjected to daily Russian shelling.
According to police, the woman decided to leave for the safety of her daughters, aged one and a half and nine.
Police noted that the security situation in the village has significantly deteriorated. Russian troops regularly shell the settlement with artillery and actively use drones. Almost every day, civilians are killed or wounded as a result of the attacks.
The evacuation was carried out by juvenile prevention officers and volunteers in armored vehicles, accompanied by a police mobile fire unit. During the journey, law enforcement officers monitored the airspace due to the threat of drone attacks.
First, the family was taken to a transit center, where they received necessary assistance. Afterward, volunteers transported the woman and her children to a settlement in the Kherson district, where it is currently safer and where the family has a place to stay.
