Zelenskyy instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to check the accessibility of schools and hospitals

During a meeting with representatives of mountain communities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the government to assess the capacity of the national, regional, and local budgets and to conduct a nationwide logistical audit. The main goal of the review is to ensure real access for every person, particularly in remote communities, and the key priorities identified are unimpeded access for ambulances and safe transportation of children to educational institutions.

The head of state emphasized a practical approach to solving problems: if funds are unavailable for major road repairs, the government must provide the community with appropriate all-wheel-drive vehicles. In response, Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi stated that the Cabinet of Ministers will address this issue and prepare a detailed action plan and a report for the “Carpathian Integration Initiative” summit.

Zelenskyy made these remarks during a meeting with representatives of mountain communities.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Education and Science has approved a new system and general criteria for assessing learning outcomes for students in general secondary education institutions. The document establishes uniform approaches to assessment regardless of the form of instruction and provides for restrictions on access to information about students’ academic performance.

Ukrainian families are already receiving their first payments under the state program “Schoolchild’s Package.” In the first phase of the initiative, the government allocated over 308 million hryvnias to nearly 61,000 families.
