Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with volunteer Serhiy Prytula, and during their conversation, the parties discussed not just individual initiatives, but broader cooperation between the state and the civil society sector in the areas of education, defense, and volunteer assistance. “Meeting with Serhiy Prytula. Meaningful. And I am grateful for his willingness to support our state where the activities of state institutions are currently insufficient,” Zelenskyy noted, emphasizing the importance of volunteer participation in key processes.
The conversation also touched on educational projects and the possibility of increasing state support for “Plast” and other patriotic organizations dedicated to youth development and fostering civic engagement.
Separately, the parties touched on the topic of more complex systemic solutions, in particular the export of Ukrainian weapons, the state’s interaction with charitable foundations, and the organization of military procurement, which is currently a critically important area for the country’s defense capabilities. “We also discussed public proposals regarding the organization of our systemic capabilities, such as the export of Ukrainian weapons and the interaction between the state and charitable foundations on matters of military procurement. We will also provide greater support for the volunteer activities of Ukrainians. Glory to Ukraine!” the president concluded.
Following the meeting, Zelenskyy made it clear that the state plans to work even more closely with the volunteer community, expanding its participation in processes that directly impact the country’s security and development. The head of state announced this on social media.
