Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report from Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on the implementation of resilience plans in regions and cities. According to the head of state, 368 projects are currently underway.
He also warned regional leaders of personal accountability in the event of failure to complete assigned tasks on time.
This was reported with reference to a post by the Ukrainian leader.
“Unfortunately, we see that some regions are falling behind the schedule set for achieving specific results before the start of the new heating season. There are concerns regarding the work in Lviv, Volyn, and Odesa regions, as well as in Kyiv,” he said.
The head of state announced the resumption of conference calls involving government officials, regional and local leaders, law enforcement, and military commanders responsible for securing facilities.
“The nationwide task is to fully implement the approved resilience plans within the specified timeframe. This is about protecting people, and responsibility for this will be personal in every region,” the president noted.
Zelenskyy emphasized that it is important for the power grid to operate stably and without restrictions. “I am grateful to everyone who ensures protection and increased power generation. We are also counting on new agreements with our partners regarding the supply of equipment for energy facilities—this should be achieved as early as this week,” said the Ukrainian leader.
