Zelenskyy signed a law providing for bonus payments to officials for international projects
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that allows for the payment of bonuses to local government officials for their work on international projects and technical assistance programs.
The law aims to encourage communities to participate more actively in programs funded by grants and assistance from the European Union, international organizations, and the governments and municipalities of foreign countries.
The law establishes a mechanism for additional payments to officials for the workload associated with implementing such projects. These additional payments are planned to be funded through international aid and grants, and the procedure for calculating them will be determined by local councils based on model rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The law will take effect three months after its official publication.
