Zelenskyy warned of a possible large-scale air strike tonight

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that a massive air attack by Russia, involving drones and missiles, is possible on the night of April 15.

The head of state made this announcement during a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in Oslo, according to Ukrinform.

According to the President, many Shahed-type strike UAVs have already been detected in Ukrainian airspace, and there is also a threat of missile attacks. Defense forces are on high alert to repel the latest air threat. Currently, monitoring channels confirm the movement of groups of attack drones in several directions. The head of state emphasized the importance of continued support from partners to protect Ukrainian airspace.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has appealed to the UN Security Council to hold an emergency meeting in connection with the escalation of Russian shelling and the rising number of civilian casualties.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, is preparing an appeal to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding the shooting of four Ukrainian prisoners of war and an evacuation team. The shooting took place during the declared Easter ceasefire.

The Russian Armed Forces carried out a targeted terrorist attack against the civilian population of the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

At the same time, in April 2026, the Russian economy entered a phase of systemic recession, which has not stopped the aggressor from continuing its terror against the civilian population. Zelenskyy urged citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and to take shelter. The situation on the front lines and in rear regions remains tense due to the enemy’s constant attempts to attack critical infrastructure.
