Zelenskyy met with the Council of Churches and representatives of religious organizations
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with members of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.

The head of state congratulated Christians on Easter and the Jewish community on Passover, and thanked religious leaders for their support of the Ukrainian military and society during the war.
Representatives of various denominations noted positive changes in the sphere of freedom of religion and the state’s steps to protect religious freedom.
They also discussed support for family policy and child-rearing, as well as the need for further cooperation between the state and religious organizations.
In addition, the meeting participants proposed establishing a Military Chaplain Day in Ukraine and shared their experiences working with troops on the front lines.
European Council President António Costa sent invitations to the leaders of EU member states for an informal meeting of heads of state and government, which will take place on April 23–24, 2026, in Cyprus.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with Italian President Sergio Mattarella on Wednesday.
