President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed former Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev as deputy head of the Office of the President. The corresponding decree has already been signed.
In his new position, Sobolev will be responsible for economic policy and coordinating the work of the government, regions, businesses, and international partners. He will also oversee the preparation and implementation of Ukraine’s post-war recovery plan.
According to the president, the main tasks include supporting the economy and Ukrainian entrepreneurs, preserving jobs, and creating new opportunities for business development.
