Residents of Vyshneve were urged not to go outside following the Russian attack
On July 6, the Vyshneve City Community in Kyiv Oblast asked residents to temporarily avoid being outdoors following a massive nighttime attack by Russia. The reason is the danger of secondary detonations of explosive devices that may have been left in the city after the shelling.
Community officials reported that due to the enemy attack, there is a risk of secondary explosions, so residents are urged to limit their time outside shelters as much as possible.
“As a result of the massive enemy attack on the city of Vyshneve, there is a possibility of unexploded ordnance detonating again. These items pose a deadly danger and could detonate at any moment,” the statement reads.
Local authorities note that all emergency and response services are involved in addressing the aftermath of the Russian strike. Personnel from the National Police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are evacuating residents from dangerous areas as necessary.
Separately, in Vyshneve, the Territorial Community addressed residents and business leaders, asking them to temporarily refrain from going to work and from being outside.
“We ask all community residents and business employees not to go to work or remain on the streets,” the community emphasized.
The restrictions apply, in particular, to Kyivska, Sviatoshynska, Parkova, Lesia Ukrainka, Yevropeiska, Balukova, Zaliznychna, and Pivdenna streets. In addition, residents were urged to remain in shelters until further notice that the danger has passed.
As a reminder, seven people were killed as a result of a massive strike on Kyiv.
Earlier, Zelenskyy warned that Russia was preparing a new massive strike.
We also recall that the Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. At that time, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—air-, ground-, and sea-based—of various types at Ukraine.
